As one of the leading out of school clubs in Newcastle Upon Tyne, we look to continue the children's learning and development, which is why our teachers will create and undertake various activities that will continue this education. Often these exercises will be extended from the projects from during the day at nursery and school, though we will also use this opportunity to test new ideas that can then be used during a regular day. We do also encourage the children themselves to create their own sessions, enabling them to increase their independence, confidence and interaction with others.
Fortunately, our out of school club in Newcastle Upon Tyne is hosted with the Hazlewood Community Primary School, which has enabled us to have access to all of their facilities accessible. As a result, we will be able to carry out activities that aren’t possible during the day, enabling the children to learn and interact in alternative ways that will further increase their education. Our team will also make use of the outdoor facilities, enabling the children to use all of their remaining energy before they go home.
Just like during a day at school, we will continue to build a strong connection with the parents and carers to ensure that their children’s development is progressing accordingly. After each club has ended, we will confer with each parent about their child’s day with us, informing them about their involvement in the activities, interaction with others, and if any issues occurred. If your child is planning on being with us on a long term basis, we can create a journal documenting their time with us that can then be used for their next educational situation.
